NEW YORK UNIVERSITY IT (NY)
As a Product Designer at NYU IT OTSS, James Walsh is responsible for the user experience of all OTSS applications and products. He also acts as a Product Owner for several products and leads OTSS' K12 and post-secondary initiatives. Prior to his job at NYU, James was an educational docent for the National Park Service and taught English and architectural design and drafting to high-school students as part of a college-prep program administered by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Since then, he has been an advocate of supplementing education with career-readiness training, which is a strong feature of OTSS. James has presented on the student experience at Educause and NERCOMP. He holds a B.A. in Urban Design and Architectural Studies from the NYU College of Arts and Science and is currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing and Product Management from the NYU Stern School of Business.
