VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Annemarie Eades is currently serving as Vice President (VP) for Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the University of West Georgia (UWG). She joined the UWG team in July 2016. Before joining UWG, Ms. Eades served as CIO at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM). Prior to that, she held information technology leadership positions in the financial services industry and the public transportation industry.
Ms. Eades holds many professional, technical and leadership certifications and holds a Bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University; a Master's of Business Administration degree from Northcentral University and is a graduate of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
Over the course of her career, Ms. Eades has been recognized as a servant leader and collaborator. She was the recipient of the first issued Employee of the Year award, while serving as Network Manager at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and was the recipient of the first issued Leadership award, while serving as CIO at MSM. Additionally, under her leadership, the Division of ITS at UWG won the Best of the West Team award in 2018.
She is a native of Philadelphia, PA, has two boys, ages 14 and 16, is a sports enthusiast and loves to travel.
